Bring your PET to Dubai
From the moment we started our activity we noticed that many of our clients were extremely keen on relocating their pets to Dubai. We have therefore over the years developed our know-how in this particular field and have been successfully relocating our 4 legged friends.
The UAE allows maximum two pets to enter the country per person. Please note that many residential buildings may not allow Pets, so it’s important to confirm with the landlord or property manager while looking for a place to live.
The UAE does not impose any quarantine upon arrival unless the pet is younger than four months old.
If you want to bring your Pet to Dubai you will need to follow strict regulations for shipping.
It’s important to note that certain dog breeds are banned from entering the UAE, including:
Pit Bull Terriers
American Staffordshire Terriers
Japanese Tosas and any cross-breeds of these.
Be sure that your dog isn’t on the official list of restricted breeds before you begin your shipping preparations.
Import Permit issued by local authorities;
International health certificate (APHIS 7001) within ten days of departure;
Implanted microchip that meets international standards. The microchip used should comply with ISO Standard 11784 or ISO standard 11785. The UAE currently accepts AVID 9 and AVID 10 in addition to ISO;
Be up-to-date on all required vaccinations – All pets must have an original Rabies Certificate signed by the vet. The Rabies vaccine must be at least 21 days old and less than one year old to apply for the import permit.
